Personal data protection

Rights of data subjects under the General Data Protection Regulation:

Badr s.r.o. respects your right to privacy and the right to privacy of persons who visit the hotel or use the hotel's website www.hotelalibaba.sk.

A data subject is any natural person whose personal data is processed, regardless of whether that person is an EU citizen or not.

The General Data Protection Regulation grants the data subject several rights, which may be exercised directly with the controller (i.e., the entity that processes their personal data).

As the operator of the ALI BABA BRATISLAVA hotel, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/94/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), and § 14 of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended.

Badr s.r.o., Hotel Alibaba BRATISLAVA collects, processes and uses personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Slovak Republic and the regulations of the European Union within the framework of business relationships, as well as on the basis of your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.

Collection and processing of personal data

We undertake that your personal data will not be misused by any third party. We process your personal data in accordance with the law within the framework of the accommodation agreement, namely title, first name, surname, permanent residence address, date of birth, and identity document number.

Accommodation reservation

Personal data that we process about our guests is processed on the basis of your consent. Scope of personal data processed: title, first name, surname, phone number, email address, date and time of the reservation, and IP address. This personal data is subsequently retained for a period of 10 years in accordance with Act No. 395/2002 Coll. on Archives and Registries.

Personal data such as email and phone number are processed only with the voluntary consent of the data subject for marketing purposes.

Retention period of your personal data for invoicing purposes: this personal data is retained for a period of 10 years in accordance with Act No. 395/2002 Coll. on Archives and Registries.

For the purpose of protecting the property, life and health of persons on the operator's premises, camera recordings are made. Recordings are kept for a maximum of 1 month, after which they are automatically deleted. The recordings are not misused by unauthorized persons, are not disclosed, and are not distributed to third parties.

Rights of data subjects

Every data subject whose personal data is processed by Badr s.r.o., Hotel Alibaba BRATISLAVA has:

  • the right of access to personal data concerning them,
  • the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning them corrected,
  • the right to have personal data concerning them erased,
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data concerning them,
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning them,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The above rights are granted to the data subject to the extent set out in Articles 15 to 21 and Article 77 of the Regulation.

The data subject may exercise their rights orally, in writing or electronically, using the contact details listed above. If the data subject requests information to be provided orally, the information will be provided after their identity has been verified.

Failure to provide the necessary personal data by the data subject may result in the relevant accommodation agreement not being concluded, or services not being provided, where the processing of personal data is necessary for that purpose.

Security

Badr s.r.o., Hotel Alibaba Bratislava keeps your personal data secure, and access to personal data is granted only to authorized and trained persons of our company; we do not distribute personal data to third parties.

We have a secure IT environment and have taken the necessary measures to prevent the leakage of the personal data we obtain and process.

Change, update and deletion of personal data

Every data subject has the right to change, delete, or object to the processing of personal data. If necessary, please contact us at info@hotelalibaba.sk.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies are small data records that a website stores on, or accesses from, your device. They help retain important settings and make the website convenient and reliable to use.

We use necessary technologies for security, core website operation, and services you explicitly request. Optional technologies activate only with your consent under Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications. You can change or withdraw consent at any time in cookie settings.

Newsletter consent is separate from cookie settings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of a newsletter or by emailing info@hotelalibaba.sk.
