we would like to inform you about the basic principles and procedures applied by KAISAR, s. r. o., as the controller, when processing your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), and Section 14 of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended.

1. General provisions

• KAISAR, s.r.o., with its registered office at Planckova 1, 851 01 Bratislava, Company ID: 35721171, registered in the Commercial Register, Section Sro, Insert No. 14965/B, hereinafter the establishment “Hotel Alibaba”, respects your right to privacy and the privacy of persons who visit the hotel or use the hotel website www.hotelalibaba.sk

• Hotel Alibaba collects, processes and uses personal data in accordance with the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic and European Union regulations in the course of business relationships, as well as on the basis of your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.

2. Collection and processing of personal data

• We undertake that your personal data will not be misused by a third party. We process your personal data pursuant to the law within the accommodation contract, namely title, first name, surname, permanent residence address, date of birth and identity-document number. Personal data such as an email address and telephone number are processed for marketing purposes only with the data subject’s voluntary consent.
• Your personal data are retained for the period necessary to provide the services, or until you withdraw the consent granted for the processing of personal data.
• Video recordings are made to protect property and the life and health of persons present on the controller’s premises. A recording is retained for no more than one month and is then automatically deleted. Recordings are not misused by unauthorised persons, published or distributed to third parties.

3. Rights of data subjects

• Every data subject whose personal data are processed by Hotel Alibaba has:
  • the right of access to personal data concerning them,
  • the right to rectify inaccurate personal data concerning them,
  • the right to erase personal data concerning them,
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data concerning them,
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning them,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to withdraw their consent to personal-data processing at any time,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• The data subject has the above rights to the extent provided for in Articles 15 to 21 and Article 77 of the Regulation. The data subject may exercise their rights orally, in writing or electronically using the contact details above. If the data subject requests that information be provided orally, it will be provided after their identity has been verified.
• A failure by the data subject to provide the necessary personal data may result in the relevant accommodation contract not being concluded or services not being provided where the processing of personal data is necessary for that purpose.

4. Security

Hotel Alibaba keeps your personal data secure. Only authorised and instructed persons within our company have access to personal data, and we do not distribute personal data to third parties. We maintain a secure IT environment and have adopted the necessary measures to prevent the leakage of personal data that we obtain and process.

5. Amendment, updating and deletion of personal data

Every data subject has the right to amendment and deletion, as well as the right to object to the processing of personal data. If necessary, please contact us at info@hotelalibaba.sk.

6. Cookies

• Cookies are information transferred from a website and stored on users’ hard drives for record-keeping purposes. Cookies allow important information and settings to be retained on the website, making it more convenient to use.
• Hotel Alibaba uses cookies to make our website easier for you to use. Cookies also tell us whether you have visited our website before. This enables us to understand which hotel service interests you and to offer you current news, for example through a regular newsletter.
